IVDD Companion cannot review your dog's symptoms, diagnose a condition, advise whether surgery is needed, choose medications, or provide treatment instructions. Those questions require a veterinarian who can examine your dog and understand the full medical history.

If you notice a typo, broken link, unclear wording, or a safety concern in the educational content, please include the page URL and a short description so it can be reviewed.

For urgent dog health concerns

If your dog has sudden weakness, paralysis, severe pain, loss of bladder or bowel control, trouble urinating, repeated vomiting, bloody diarrhea, rapidly worsening symptoms, or any sign your veterinarian told you to treat as urgent, contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.

If you are unsure whether something is urgent, calling a veterinary professional is safer than waiting for an email response from a website.

What to include in a non-urgent message

For website feedback, include the page URL, what you noticed, and why it may be confusing or inaccurate. For privacy requests, include the email address associated with your account if you have one, but do not include unnecessary medical details.
