Summary

IVDD Companion stores recovery data so you can keep dog profile details, daily logs, medications, milestones, and notes with your account. The service is intended for adult dog owners using the app for personal organization.

Information you enter may include dog profile details, symptom logs, medication schedules, milestones, vet contact notes, and account information such as an email address or anonymous Firebase user ID. Do not enter information you do not want stored in the service.

Public education pages can be read without creating an account. The optional tracking app requires either an email/password account or a Firebase guest session when Firebase is enabled.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to enter into IVDD Companion, such as your dog's name, profile details, recovery dates, daily log entries, medications you want to track, milestone notes, and veterinary contact information. The app is designed for organization, so users should enter only the details they want stored.

If you create an account, Firebase Authentication may store your email address and authentication identifiers. If you continue as a guest, Firebase may create an anonymous user identifier so your data can remain associated with that browser session. Hosting providers may process standard server log information such as request time, URL, IP address, and user agent.

Third-party services and ads

The app may use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for sign up, login, anonymous guest mode, password reset, and recovery-data storage. Google Fonts may be loaded for typography. Hosting providers may keep standard server access logs. Google AdSense may be used on public content pages when enabled.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to IVDD Companion and/or other sites on the internet. Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies if they serve ads through Google AdSense or related advertising systems.

Ads are not intended for private app pages, login pages, dashboard pages, dog profile pages, or care logs behind authentication. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies where ads are enabled.

IVDD Companion does not currently add Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. If analytics is added later, this policy should be updated to describe what is collected and how it is used.

Ad personalization choices

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google through Google Ads Settings. You can also learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google's partner sites policy page.

Depending on your location, you may also have browser, device, consent, or privacy-law choices that limit cookies or personalized advertising. If you block cookies, some site or advertising features may behave differently.

How information is used

Recovery data is used to provide the tracking features you choose to use: dog profiles, daily logs, medication confirmations, milestones, reminders inside the app, and summaries you can bring to veterinary conversations. We do not use recovery notes to diagnose, triage, or recommend treatment.

Website maintenance information may be used to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service. Contact messages may be used to respond to website feedback, privacy requests, bug reports, or correction requests.

Your choices

You can delete app data from settings where available or contact IVDD Companion for privacy questions at parkdigitalventures@gmail.com. Anonymous guest access may depend on the browser session used to create it.

You can avoid personalized ads by using Google's advertising controls, browser settings, or device privacy tools where available. You can also choose not to create an account and read the public education pages without using the tracker.
