Acceptance

By accessing or using IVDD Companion, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. IVDD Companion is intended for adult dog owners using the website and app for lawful, personal, non-commercial organization.

The service may change, pause, or discontinue features over time. Public educational content may be updated as the site improves.

Not veterinary advice

IVDD Companion is an educational and organizational tool. It is not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified veterinarian. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions.

Do not use the service to start, stop, combine, taper, or change medications; decide whether surgery is needed; assign a stage; interpret deep pain; end crate rest; begin exercises; or delay emergency care.

If your dog has sudden weakness, paralysis, severe pain, loss of bladder or bowel control, trouble urinating, or rapidly worsening symptoms, contact a veterinarian or emergency veterinary hospital immediately.

Appropriate use of the tracker

The optional tracker is for personal organization. You may use it to record observations, medication confirmations, appetite, potty details, comfort notes, mobility changes, milestones, and questions for your veterinarian. You are responsible for entering accurate information and for confirming medical instructions with your care team.

You agree not to rely on IVDD Companion as a medical device, triage service, emergency service, veterinary clinic, pharmacy, or rehabilitation program. The app may be incomplete, unavailable, delayed, or wrong, so your veterinarian's instructions and urgent-care resources must come first.

Data, third-party links, and ads

You are responsible for the information you enter and for maintaining access to your account. See the Privacy Policy for more detail about data handling. The service may link to third-party resources or display ads on approved public content pages; IVDD Companion is not responsible for third-party content, ads, products, services, availability, or privacy practices.

Advertising does not influence veterinary safety wording and does not mean IVDD Companion endorses an advertised product. Discuss care-related products, supplements, mobility equipment, medications, or services with your veterinarian before acting.

Availability, warranties, and liability

The service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that the website, tracker, generated pages, hosting, Firebase services, third-party links, or advertising systems will always work, remain available, or be error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IVDD Companion and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or similar damages, including loss of data, profits, veterinary expenses, or decisions made from using or being unable to use the service.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, except where a different mandatory law applies. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect.
